How It All Began.........
I wanted a special "Thank You"
to send to the family and many friends who supported us and made donations in memory of my Mum and Dad.
ANGIE
and TONY JOHNS
who passed away six weeks apart in October and November 2008.
I was unable to find anything that was at a
realistic price, so I set about trying to fill the gap in the market. I wanted a keepsake that could be personalised
and when I made enquiries I discovered that I could adapt this process which I have done over the past few months and added
one or two unique ideas of my own.

DECEMBER 2011
Where did the last six months go!??!
We have moved (again and hopefully
last time for a long time) Moved along two units to a much warmer one!! Absolute nightmare no internet for 3 weeks and no
phone for 10 days . Great fun!!
The finishing has been ticking over nicely and the embroidery side of CC has gone mad!
Candles were very popular for Christmas with one order of 300!
The range of our items increases every month so don't
forget to check out our facebook page for the very latest news x Lots of items don't even get onto the website as they
sell out fast through facebook .
MAY/JUNE 2011
Well ,we have now invested in an embroidery machine so we can now personalise lots of different
items mainly baby things at the moment, along with making some of the products ourselves .Pop over to our new section
and have a look.
Updating the website has been fun (not) but it is now done !
Busy as ever with orders for all
our products and runing at 14-21 days for despatching.

WOW sock monkeys are
ruling our house. They are taking over!!
We have launched a Facebook
Page which has definately enabled us to expand our range within the craft section. The old sewing machine has been brought
out , along with mum's hand sewing machine and I started to make fragranced padded hearts, Christmas scented tree decorations
and then we discovered the art of making sock monkeys and are loving it !!

Well a year has passed since I bought
the business Artopia Finishing, its had its ups and downs , a few changes but all together still on the way up!!!

crafts is slowly growing with the internet helping it along the way!

Have placed adverts in a wedding directory and brochure,
and a local business magazine.x

Life is hectic we have just moved into
a small unit ten minutes from home and have a work area that has space to sort things into some order!! The business
has grown and now I own both the print finishing company ARTOPIA FINISHING and CANDLEWICK CRAFTS. So one day I
could be making cards or candles then the next folders or packing promotion kits.

MUM and DAD Mum
and Dad were always there, together, with their door always open to the family and their many friends.Pop in or on the
phone,for a chat, to rant and rave or a shoulder to cry on,to share laughter and tears. Mum quiet, never judging
and always with a smile. Dad saying it as it was and always there with advise.
